The acclaimed choral composer and conductor Jonathan Willcocks has been appointed Artistic Director and Choral Clinician for the Festival. He will be leading choral workshops for each choir as well as taking rehearsals for the opening concert in the famous Nikolaikirche, as well as in the magnificent Gewandhaus, the stunning setting for the massed choirs’ finale that will bring the Leipzig International Choral Festival to a thrilling and memorable conclusion.
