If
you should choose to tour England, we can
include a visit to the John Taylor Bell Foundry
and Museum, at Loughbrough in England. Since
the 14th century John Taylor cast
bells have been exported around the world.
See the process and learn that in manufacturing
a bell the mould is destroyed in removing
the bell casting which means every bell is
unique. Taylor's also cast the largest bell
in Britain, "Great Paul", the massive
Bourdon bell at St Paul's Cathedral in London,
was cast in 1881, and weighs 37,483 pounds.
